Manufacturing Process

Step 1: Order and Design

Based on the customer’s operating conditions (pressure, temperature, and medium), determine the structural configuration, dimensional standards (e.g., ANSI/DIN), and materials (PVC, CPVC, PP, etc.) for the lug butterfly valve. Complete 3D modeling and mold design, and confirm the sealing configuration and layout of connection ports.

Step 2: Raw Material Preparation & Molding

Select high-quality engineering plastic pellets. After drying, produce key components such as the valve body and disc using injection molding to ensure dimensional stability and strength.

Step 3: Machining

Perform precision machining on the molded lug butterfly valve body, including tapping threaded holes, finishing sealing surfaces, and precision machining of shaft holes, to ensure assembly accuracy and sealing performance.

Step 4: Assembly

Assemble components such as the valve disc, valve stem, seal ring, and handle to complete the overall assembly of the lug butterfly valve, with a focus on controlling the clearance between the valve disc and the seal ring.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance

The assembled lug butterfly valve undergoes seal testing, pressure testing, and opening/closing torque testing to ensure the product meets relevant standards and customer requirements.

Step 6: Finishing, Packaging and Shipment

The product is cleaned and treated with protective coatings. After labeling, it is packed in shock-resistant packaging and shipped according to order specifications.
